Hands-on assassin Rose has the best job in the world and no issue at all with taking out the bad guys in the world. Book reads like an action movie. Kind of like a lesbian Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The chemistry between the two ladies is great, the dialogue fun, and the love scenes hot. Only beef I have is the constant use of 'her girl' starts to make her sound more like a possession than a person after the 30th use of it. WOW! I did not know what this book was about, I was really surprised and pleased! Page one went in a totally different direction than page two. The story of Rose and Jane was full of action, adventure, suspense and oh my goodness so intently erotic and none to shy with the tender romance I like so much. This book was a perfect blend of everything. It grabbed my attention from the start and held it till the end. While the ending was great, I was disappointed to see it come. This really is not one to miss.

Games Girls Play was a really interesting read. I’m always up for a book about spies and assassins, especially when they involve women…the most dangerous thing in the world. This author really knew what she was doing and had me from the first page. I just have to throw in that cover page fits the characters to a T. After reading the book you know exactly who is who and what their specialty is.
I think it’s interesting how the characters found love and it’s not only great but amazing that they have a little contest of sorts going on. You can tell that Rose and Jane are very good at their jobs and love each other very much. For a second there I didn’t think they were going to make it, but they are a double threat and work better together than against.
I must say that the sex scenes in this book are off the wall. They are very detailed and specific, you can literally picture the scene in your head. Rose and Jane put their all in and get taken away, they are not afraid to show their vulnerability to each other. When Rose got taken Jane didn’t leave her there and say that’s it, nope she went and got her girl and I think that’s what love is really about. It’s that sacrificing of yourself for your other half even when it will or could kill you.

Wow! This is slick, hot, and ultra professional with a high level of fun and intrigue. There are two competitors in the high-price-assassin game in motion here who have periodically hooked up for as many hours or days as were available for major bedroom play. If they stayed together too long, they risked getting colossally pissed off at each other, which is not so masterful in the field or in the bedroom. This novella moves fast, holds back no punches, has truly delicious hot sex, and top notch upper rung assassin elements. Fundamentally, what is presented is two very accomplished guns for hire, so to speak, but with skill sets on completely different ends of the spectrum. Plus, I loved their fiercely contested games. This is a winner!
Rose is an extremely proficient hired knife or gun or whatever is needed. She is deceptively strong, amazingly adept, and tops in her game. She also can piss off folks after she takes down her assignment and disappears into the mist. That can sometimes place her in the cross-hairs of her assignment's associates, but that is always a possibility and she trains, plans, and protects herself to the best of her ability. She is one of the best. In her mind, she is the best and that kind of arrogance is essential. It was a total delight to watch her in action on all the levels she has to conquer or overcome. She is also one really hot lover. Magnificent!
Jane is a sniper par excellence. Therefore, she is a contract assassin, like Rose, and in fact they have decidedly intriguing challenges going on between them. The one-upmanship gets left at the door when they hook up for some unbelievably steamy sex. This is a remarkable sporting duality with fantastic fringe benefits. Jane is all military in comparison to Rose's fashionably soft all-girl qualities. Nevertheless, they have marvelously flawless compatible physical attributes and skills. When they don't get grouchy or bitchy, they seem to be exceptionally well suited for each other. Jane knows how to pleasure, how take down her target, and mount a rescue operation. I so adore Jane. Fantastic!
Allow me to take this moment to compliment the cover artist. The photo is so good and the one woman whose face we see has the most unerring expression that totally captures the sense, closeness, and passion between the two leading women. I flat-out adored this story, the characters, and the action. Unless seeing women as polished executioners is off-putting, this book is practically perfect. Enjoy it as soon as possible!
